Why Turn Off Automatic Updates in Windows 10
Windows 10 installs updates in a two-step procedure, first the updates are downloaded to the computer and then Windows restarts the computer to complete installation of the update.
While Windows Pro users can defer updates, Windows 10 Home Edition users do not have the option to defer updates. This practically means that Updates are automatically downloaded to Windows 10 Home Edition Computers, as and when they become available.
Many Windows 10 users have reported about slowing down of computer, due to installation of updates in the background, just when they were in the middle of getting something important done on their computers.
Hence, we are providing below two different methods to Turn OFF Automatic Updates in Windows 10. You can make use of any method that you feel is easy and works on your computer.

The first method to Turn OFF Automatic Updates in Windows 10 requires you to sign into your Admin Account and access the Services screen.
